Jelly Belly: A Review of BeanBoozled Minion Edition

Let me introduce you Jelly Belly’s latest range of Jelly Beans, they are called BeanBoozled, The Minion Edition. Now these Jelly Beans are the creation of someone who either has a fantastic sense of humour or someone who is a bit of an evil mastermind! For each lovely flavoured jelly bean has an identical yet more sinister flavoured twin!  This is where the fun starts or perhaps where you unleash your inner evil mastermind, as you work out how to share these with friends and family!

We all know Minions are cute, have an infectious laugh and well they are all rather mischievous too! Jelly Belly has cleverly captured the mischievous personality of the Minions with a “special selection” of BeanBoozled flavours; and in true spirit with the Despicable Me franchise there are “Ba-na-na” and “Minion fart” flavours! BeanBoozled are apparently infamous for their more stomach churning flavours such as stinky socks, rotten eggs or baby wipes, which are snuck in and identical in colourings to their yummy counterparts Tutti-Fruiti, Buttered Popcorn and Coconut.

When Jelly Belly sent me a some BeanBoozled Minion Edition Jelly Beans, I was dubious and didn’t quite believe that they would create something quite that mean and gross. So, I spent some time on YouTube watching BeanBoozled fans taking on the BeanBoozled challenge and realising that “Yes” those flavours are real and being thankful that I didn’t just dive in to the packet to taste test the Jelly Beans. If you have time, I would highly recommend watching some of these challenges, they are really quite funny!

BeanBoozled Minion Edition Jelly Belly Jelly Beans are available in a 45g Flip Top Box, 54g bag and a 95g Spinner Tin with a spin wheel on the top! Varying sizes for more players, why not make it a family affair!
